Tim started playing bass to be a part of his older
brother's heavy metal band. "They already had a
vocalist, guitarist, and drummer, so it made choosing
the bass a simple decision."
To this day, Tim gives credit to a "mysterious and
inherent" passion for the instrument and music in
general... when asked about his influences...
"Take a good record/book store, throw the entire
inventory into it's revolving door... and let me stand
on the other side."
And on a more literal note...
"Life, love, wife, family and friends, the good the bad,
a change in weather, 10YV, shower water temperature,
work, TV, history, cold windy starlit nights, long
drives, the grey areas, natural disasters, and sleep..."
